In an effort to better prioritize our daily concrete orders and provide a higher level of delivery service to our customers, Dragon Concrete became the first concrete producer in Maine to establish a central dispatch system in 1994.

Our central dispatch office receives all concrete orders for the eight (8) batch plants along the I-95 corridor via a customer 800 telephone number, enters detailed orders into our Command Data dispatching system, and forwards these orders through our computer link to the appropriate batch plant for shipping; with Command Data's "truck tracking" information allowing the dispatch center to monitor the status of all mixer trucks throughout the day, we are able to make more informed decisions, resulting in improved service for Dragon's customers.
