David C. MacLauchlin has joined Dragon Cement and Concrete as a process engineer at the company’s Thomaston plant.  His responsibilities will include optimizing the current production equipment and taking an active role in the transition from wet process to dry process as part of Dragon’s proposed major plant modernization.

Dragon Cement and Concrete, Maine’s largest concrete supplier and New England’s only cement manufacturer, produces approximately 450,000 metric tons of cement each year at its Thomaston facility.

A Camden resident, MacLauchlin is a 1998 graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. Originally from St. Johnsville, N.Y., he is a graduate of Little Falls High School.
