Description:

Dragon’s Type S Cement is produced in Type S strength level to comply with ASTM specification C-91, and Federal specification SS-C-  1960/1. Dragon’s Type S, is the same light shade as Dragon’s Light Masonry Cement (Type N). It is to be used without additional cement or hydrated lime to meet ASTM C-270 specifications.

This masonry product is manufactured in Dragon’s Thomaston, Maine, Facility, under strict quality control conditions to provide a dependable, high quality masonry cement.

Applications:

Proper mixing of this cements with mason’s sand (conforming to ASTM C-144) produces a Type S masonry mortar that conforms to ASTM C-270. Type S mortars are appropriate for above and below grade exterior load bearing and parapet walls, foundations, and interior load bearing walls.

Dragon Type S should be proportioned with clean water and mason’s sand, without the addition of hydrated lime or Portland cement to make masonry mortar.
